Laughter Yoga Comes To Phoenix

Metta Community Yoga is proud to announce Phoenix's first Laughter Yoga class. Every Wednesday individuals of all ages are welcomed to join this laughter filled class. It's called Family Laughter Yoga but you don't have to be a family to attend! Anyone ages 5-105 can come and enjoy some simple stretches, breathing techniques and laughter!
Stacy Weiss, the instructor, is Certified through the American School of Laughter Yoga. She was inspired by Laughter Yogas unique concept developed by Indian physician, Dr. Madan Kataria. It is fast sweeping the world and is truly a life changing experience. It combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing which brings more oxygen to the body and brain making one feel more energetic and healthy. The concept is based on a scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter. One gets the same physiological and psychological benefits. Safe, easy and scientifically proven, Laughter Yoga is a lot of fun. When we can stimulate laughter without a punchline, jokes or sarcasm it creates a more hearty laugh and we laugh longer - this is truly letting go and this allows us to manifest our own genuine happiness.

Laughter Yoga class fee: $8 Children $10 Adults or class cards. For further information on a private session, Corporate Stress Management/Team Building Session or to add a Laughter Yoga Cass to your schedule contact Stacy at weisstacy@gmail.com
